By Thursday, the week is still held in your body: tight shoulders, a tense jaw, a busy mind.
Long-held Yin postures invite the body to soften and create space. Each session follows the rhythm of the seasons, inspired by Traditional Chinese Medicine, the elements and meridian pathways.
But what makes this Yin & Sound practice different is that sound is not something added at the end.
It is woven through the entire experience.
I’ve felt that sound has the potential to deepen those long, quiet moments we spend in a Yin posture. Rather than separating the yoga from the sound journey, I wanted to create a practice where the two truly meet.
As a certified yoga teacher and someone who has been drawn to music and sound since childhood, this is at the heart of what I want to offer.
The harp accompanies meditation and moments of stillness. Tibetan singing bowls are played close to the body while you remain in the postures, allowing their vibrations to become part of the experience itself.
Movement, stillness and sound are not separate parts of the class. They form one continuous journey.
90 minutes to put the week down.
To soften, listen inward and reconnect with your body.
